I need to enable the SAP Logon Screen for trusted RFC via remote logon

Currently when we click on Remote logon in SM59 from a trusted RFC, no logon screen appears. I need to have the logon screen enabled for the trusted RFC when we click on Remote logon button.

    Hi,

I am not a basis guy - but isn't the the purpose of a trusted RFC that you do NOT need to logon???

And this is not a SAP EWM - Basis question.

    Hi Kazi,

Few suggestions. Please watch this video to understand how to establish Trusted RFC.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GKYdaA6VaFs

2nd thing you need to ensure the user used in this trusted rfc connection is GUI user. As long as your user can logon normally to the same system and are able to access GUI screen, you are not doing anything wrong with the user type.

    Thanks

    Hi Kazi,

The logon screen will appear from SM59 when the user type is only "Dialog". If the type is "System" or other type, logon is not possible.
