DTP Transport error

Hi BWs!

I am sending a DTP to QAS system, but this following error occur in transport monitor:

"Changes cannot be made, display user only", message error TR026

Any idea about this problem?

I have applied the 948913 note and we are using SP7.

Hello,

Check your Authorizations in the system you want to transport the DTP

It looks like your Transport user Doesnt have the Rights to create the DTP in that system.

Try to create a DTP manually in Q hope this helps.

Hi,

Same error occured, to my transports as well. Basis retransported, second time it was ok with only warning

asked the basis,they said they didn't do anything, they just retransported.

Try looking at OSS note 1082186. It has to do with authorizations while transporting objects.

I got the message TR026 (Changes cannot be made, display user only/Changes not possible, display of user desired; Änderungen nicht möglich, Anzeigen von Benutzer gewünscht), too. If do not know if this is "DTP"-related, but it can be (SAP BW 7.0). su53 does not have any messages. I checked the SDN (results below), then I tried to import again, and then the errors disappeared.

Hi all,

We have the same situation. The first attempt of a transport fails with a return code 8, the second attempt of the same transport end with a return code 4 (which is ok). I found OSS note 1260759 (Dependent obj. also written to orders in import postprocess) which could be a solution to this. I haven't tested it yet as our development environment is unavailable for a couple of days, but once it is back I certainly will apply the note. The only restrcition is that this note is only valid for BI 7.xx

Basis have altered my login and I did new transport again, but same error appeared.

I will check 942392 note now, and will let you know if works!

Hello KMT ,

That NOte wont help coz Iam also having the same problem and did applied the note but of no use and i did logged an OSS message .So lookslike it requires a new NOTE to be applied .So will update u once i know what needs to be done.

Could u also pls let me know if u could resolve from ur end.

Have the same problem as you. Look at note 966234. We are applying SP09 today and tomorrow, and this note already refers to SP10... Suppose I will have to apply the manual patch.

Hi guys,

I am having similar problems. I have already applied SPS09 and after that note 966234. When applying the note, however, I am getting a syntax error in method IF_RSBK_DTP_MAINTAIN~SET_DTP_STANDARD that attribute O_DTP_STANDARD does not exist. This attribute must have been deleted as a result of SPS09 or the note itself as the method is not being changed by the correction instructions of the note. However the method in question still uses that attribute. The attribute exists in systems at SPS08. I will be logging an OSS message.

Hi.

Check the note 948913 - 70SP09: DTP cannot be activated with DataSource transport.

Summary

Symptom

You transport a DataSource. Error message TR 026 is entered in the log of the after-import method.

Changes cannot be made, display user only

Check transaction SU53 for authorization related issues if any ,and then send snaphot of the su53 to your Basis requesting authorization.

I think it's a problem of authorization; the user can't modify, it's a display only user. Ask your basis guy to change your profile.
