I need to migrate portal from EP6.0 SP09 to EP 6.0(latest) version. which is latest version?

Can anyone please give me the information about these things.

1. What ground work and basic things we need to do before this.

2. Number of Resources we need to accomplish this activity,do we need any Basis resource?

3. How much time duration is enough to do this complete migration?
