Attribute change run

Hi Gurus

I have gone thro the available threads to understand this and got some idea but need to know how can we run this change run in actual system?

Is there some transaction? ( assuming I am not including it in any process chain).

and if i include it in any process chain then after which event do I need to include it?

Pl help.

If you want to include it in process chain - select "Attribute change run" (under - 'Other BW Processes') and select the objects for the process variant

Hi Krishna,

You can run the Attr Change run from RSA1 > menu Tools > Apply Attribute/Hierarchy change. From here you can run immediately or can also schedule as a job.

If you are including it in a process chain, it would be after the load processes that load attr and hierarchies. In the variant of this process you would then maintain a list of the InfoObjects whose attr and hierarchy you want to activate.
