Passing a SSIS user variable to an Execute formula task / logic script

Hi all

We have a package that allows users to select one or more Entities for some specific processing tasks to be applied to each entity in turn.

In the SSIS package a Foreach Loop container is used to process each of these entities in turn making use of a variable (User::CurrentEntity) which stores the value of the entity currently being enumerated in the loop. Not all entities will be processed, only those passing certain predefined criteria.

The loop container first checks if the conditions are met and if so then executes a formula task which calls a logic script. I need however to somehow pass the value of the 'CurrentEntity' variable into the logic script to restrict the records that are being processed to those belonging only to the entity currently processed (otherwise all records get processed including those for which the criteria are not met).

Does anyone know if and how this can be achieved?

Br Alan
