HANA express: XS linux command not working

Hi, I'm running the HANA express VM and going through the getting started doc, I'm not able to run the xs command like xs apps. I get ' If `xs` is not a typo you can use command-not-found to lookup the package that contains it, like this: cnf xs'.

Can anyone point me in a direction?

What VM version of HXE you are using? The "server-only" or the "server + applications" version?

If you are using the "server-only" one than the XS command line tooling is not installed.

If you are using the HXE version supplied by the GCP Launcher, than you have a "server-only" version (server version + application is not available so far in that way). Therefore you also do not have the XS CLI available.
