EGR in Embedded EWM

Hi

From the other posts related to Embedded EWM and from SAP presentations I understood that there is no more EGR document and no need of replicating Purchase Order or Production Order. But still the block diagram in one of the presentation shows below steps.

1. Create Purchase Order (ME21N)

2. Create EWM Inbound Delivery (Is it manual creation from /N/SCWM/PRDI or VL60?)

3. Create EM inbound delivery. (Hope it is automatic due to above step)

Can someone throw light on the new "EGR" process in Embedded EWM and what are the detail steps and t-codes to be used? Or is this process completely irrelevant in Embedded EWM? Please clarify.

Thanks

Hi,

the process is as before, just that you do not have an EGR document (and don't need to schedule the report to create these documents).

And you create the inbound delivery in EWM with /SCWM/GRPE or /SCWM/GRPI (or through automatizing it with RF), as before. And the ERP delivery is created in the background (or none at all, in case of working with production integration and using the variation without ERP delivery).
