Hi All,

I installed one IDES 4.7 server for training purpose. Now there are two client 800 and 812. Now i need to transport request from 800 to 812. so after releasing transport request from client 800. I am unable to transport into client 812. when i am using transaction code STMS there i am not finding my single transport request in the list. so i am unable to understand what is the problem? why no transport request is coming even though i released it. can any you help me out from this problem.

thanks

alok

Dear Alok,

First check if at all any transport route has been defined fron your 800 client to 812 client or not.

For this STMS-->Overview--->Transport Routes.

If there is no route u have to define one.

Let me know the outcome

Hi Alok,

=> Following site shows all possible details about what are the different types of requests are there, in how many ways the transport system can be configured & so on.

It also includes your scenario of having only one system with different clients. Search for the line 'Configuring the CTS system' in the following link -

http://www.planetsap.com/cts.htm

=> Following site also talks about configuring the Transport Management System -

http://www.sappoint.com/basis/tms1.pdf

=> Online SAP helps to achieve the same -

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/44/b4a09a7acc11d1899e0000e829fbbd/content.htm

=> Following site is handbook for the transport system -http://www.basisconsultant.com/docs/handbooks/clienttransport.pdf

Hope this should sort out your problem.

PS: If the answer helps, plz reward points to everyone responding.
