Auto-Printing from DI API

Hi there

I've seen a few older posts on printing from the DI API (where they say it isn't possible)

I just need to confirm this though: I set it up in SAP so that the Delivery note gets printed automatically when it gets created (from within the SAPB1 UI). This works great.

However, if I create a Delivery from the DI, using my own code, it doesn't print out.) Now, I'm not too surprised by this, but I'm REALLY hoping I'm either a) wrong, or b) missing a nice easy method to do this. Its becoming a rather important requirement of my client's.... (of course!)

Anyone know more about this?

Hi Kevin,

Unfortunately there is an option (c) as well. There is no setting and you're not doing anything wrong. This print setting will not work from the DI API automatically. We've asked this question when we stumbled accross it about a year ago and have not seen any new notes or upgrades on this issue. Just for interest sake, the same goes for approval procedures.

Does anyone have any helpful suggestions? Somebody mentioned in a post a new library available, something about reports I think, but I can't remember what it was called. And, I don't know if its at all relevant either....
