Variable entry appears in Web but not in BEX

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone of you came across this problem :

When a query is executed via BEX, one of the variables input field is not displayed. However, when the same query is executed over the web (using the web publishing button on the global definition), the specific variable input field magically appears. There is a default filter value set on this variable though.

Any ideas? I was wondering if deleting and recreating the query would help....
