After Solution manager 7.2 upgrade in Tx- STWB_WORK Automatic Test button is disabled

Hi GURUS,

Kindly help me, after we upgraded from Solman 7.1 to Solman 7.2, when testing ecatt scripts in STWB_WORK, Automatic test button is disabled. how to enable this button ?

we need to run the scripts.

Hi Kalyan,

I fully agree Jan's answer and here is some more advise.

As you are aware the Structure for Solution Manager content is completely redesigned and it is now using the Solution/ Branch/System role. During the prepare_activation phase projects and solutions are mapped to branches and system roles. So do the tests. Your test configuration/ test script should be migrated so that they are assigned to a solution/branch. And please well prepare and configure your LCG (Logical Component Group) and Technical Systems for your Solution/branch in transaction SOLADM. Because attributes for SUT (System Under Test) are coming from LCG, while the Technical Data (SDC/Target Component/Target System) are coming from SUT automatically. Without these properly set attributes you are not able to run the automation tests.

Hello Kalyan.

During the upgrade to 7.2 your test plans were not migrated and you need to create them again in 7.2. For this use test suite fiori applications. (hopefully you have done content activation and migrate your test configurations). After you create new test plan you can access test packages also via fiori Launchpad and application for testers worklist. Please be advise that old transaction like SOLAR01, SOLAR02, STWB_2, STWB_WORK does not work anymore and only display information.
