How to Create Sales Order using BAPI with Variant configurations

Hi All,

I need to create a sales order using BAPI BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2 with Varaint confiugartions. I will get Header ITEM and variant configuration items in the flat file. Kindly help me in this regard.

One more thing, is there any way to findout all the Varaint classifications for a particular Material?

Regards,

Rajesh

use VC_I_GET_CONFIGURATION based on the VBAP-CUOBJ field value.

Found a solution, hopefully it will help others. The configuration was failing on the custom dependency checks. In order to see the inconsistency error I applied OSS Note 339120 which allows the document to be saved with variant configuration inconsistencies.

I also found OSS Note 774346 very helpful which provides an overview of the OSS Notes relating to configuration problems.

      Best regards
