Need help in Remote IPC

I am very very new to IPC!!!

First question is: I am not having the adminRemote.bat in mt \bin folder. Why is that?

Second question is:

Using DeskTop UI,after connecting remotely to the IPC server,I tried to create a NEw remote Session in the SAP Sales and Pricing Configurator.

I get the error"This IPC server has not been configured for Remote administration".

Also I get the small window for IPC sessions with nothing in it..

Appreciate your help.

Hi,

I think the installation of IPC is not successful, try to reinstall the IPC. Morover dont take risks of using the any bat files. In the start menu-->programs you will find the installed components, try to run the Administrator console from there. in the administrator console in the first window itself you will find a check box for remote administration, select this and maintain a password, this password has to be given while trying to use the desktop UI to access the sales order.
