Hi guys;
Some of my users are getting an error msg while running the report saying 'Error you do not have authorization for Infoset 'zpovalue'.'
I am using the autho. object 0project and I have the autho variable included into the report. I did change have check marked on tcode RSSM for this infoprovider. Is anything I am missing?
Thank you.
Krishma
Hi Krishma,
You may also need to include : as a field Authorization value in your custom reporting Authorization object. Once you link the custom authorization object to your Info Provider, all queries defined against that info provider will check for your authorization object even though for some queries the authorization relevant info object may not be included in the definition. So you'll get an Authorization error when you execute these queries. To avoid this it's always advisable to include : (Colon) as an Authorization value for your custom reporting Authorization object.
Refer this document also.

Hope this helps.

Hari

Yes, you have to assign this authorization object to your users/roles too !

I don't think you have to create a specific role...it's enough to add this new auth object to one of the already existing reporting roles you have on your system...
For example, go to SU01 for a specific user: here you can check which roles are assigned to him...well, go to role maintenance and add what you need!
Hope now is clearer...
Bye,
Roberto
