Role for a Java developer

Can anybody tell me what role should be assigned to a Java Developer inside the portal? Without giving them full admin access?

com.sap.pct.pdk.JavaDeveloper is standard for Java development, additionally you may want to give delegated (and customized) content admin and system admin roles.

as i said earlier there is no specific 2004s Version of the

Portal Development Kit .

Hi Kevin,

for getting the java developer role in portal..first u have to import PDK ( portal development kit) in portal. PDK is available on sdn.

The role above is the PDK package,

which can be used for NW2004 and also 2004s.
