Clock in / Clock out in ESS

Can any one explain how clock in/clock out works in ess,if any one has the screen shot of this iview can you please send it to me gosap1234@yahoo.com.Our requirement is employee should clock in/clock in only at their work. This ivew should be disabled if they logon into ess outside the intranet. I'm not a time consultant so i don't know exactly where this info is stored and how it is stored. Any help
