hello Guru's
i have enchanced two feilds to two data sources and checked the data at rsa3(extract checker).
0fi_gl_10 is the datasource build on FAGLFLEXT table. i see the difference in the data at the extract checker and data base table (FAGLFLEXT). I FIND MORE RECORDS ARE EXTRACTED FROM TABLE. HOW COME IT IS POSSIBLE
SAME IS WITH 0CO_OM_CCA_9 DATASOURCE AS WELL WITH CORRESPONDING TABLES COSS AND COSP.
CAN ANY ONE PLZ HELP ME WHAT IS HAPPENING BACKGROUND WHY EXTRACT STRUCTURE IS EXTRACTING MUCH MORE RECORDS THAN WHAT DATA THEY HAVE IN DATA BASE TABLES.
Thanks
RAD
Hi Rad
The datasources in FI extract data for different currency types.
For example, currency type 10, 20 and 30 where 10 could be document currency, 20 could be company code currency and 30 could be group currency.
Each of these currency types result in one row. This could be one of the answers for multiple records. Check and let us know.
Please award points if you find this useful.
Regards
Prakash

Hi Rad,
Did you write any code in the user exit to populate the data? If you have written any code, you are controlling the data selection so, you might need to look into your code. If it is standard, please check the table from where it is extracting the data. You might be thinking it is extracting data from one table but the extractor might be looking at a different table. Hope this helps.
Thanks and Regards
