SAP ECC- Enterprise Asset Management vs S/4 HANA Asset Management

Dear Experts

I am new to S/4 HANA. I am working as EAM/ PM consultant

My questions to those who are already working on S/4 HANA Asset Management, could you please let me know whether there is a huge change in S/4 HANA as compared to ECC-EAM? I was going through the S/4 HANA system, but found that all nodes are same which exists in ECC

I need a lil bit of insight about it to start exploring more on S/4. Could you please help me out on this?

Hello Shiv,

You will see not much more difference between ECC6 Plant Maintenance and S/4 when using the standard GUI (not Fiori, etc).

The S/4 system should be a little quicker.

As I noticed from old threads and with my observation:

You can find new tcode IP30H which is better in as compared with old tcode IP30 in S4 HANA.

Maintenance activity type you can directly assign while creation Notification.

Notification Type able to change after creation.

At a time you can set deletion flag or Active /inactive function of PM plan through IP15 TCODE
