Product catalog authorization group for areas

Hello all,

I need to create an product catalog (using wwm1), in this catalog some areas will be available only for some users. I think a way to do this is to assing areas to authorization group for requested areas.

My problem is that I don't know from where(transaction or tables) to create that authorization gropus. Or maybe there is another way for solving the problem.

Use

You can enter an authorization group here if not all the users are to be given unrestricted access to the product catalog. When a certain activity (e.g. display or change) is executed, the system checks whether the user has authorization for authorization object "Maintain product catalog" (W_PCAT_MTN).

If the field is blank, the system does not carry out an authorization check.</b>

so at user roles level u have give authorizations , for more info ask ur basis person how to do it.
