Downloading of variant

Hi SAPExperts,

Is there any way to download/Upload the variants to Local PC.I am working on Migration from 4.7 to 5.0 version.

YOU can use RSVARIVALCLI for copying variants from different clients.

OR

For normal variants use report RSTRANSP to create a transport for your Variant . Once the request is created , request your basis folks to import into another client . This method can be used to transport variants to other clients of same system as well as other systems.

Hi Friends,

Thanks for your replies.But all these options are for copying the variant from one system to another system in one version.My requirement is to copy it from one version(4.7) to another version(5.0).For this i think i need to download the variant to my local PC after that i can upload it in another version.

Any solution will be appreciated and will be awarded with point
