Organizational Management-Chief Position's-Issue.

Hi Guys.

I have a wired issue. Its like my client doesn't have chief position(red hate) next to the superiors in his Organizational Management(I viewed in Simple Maintenance) Its like i need a report on all the chief positions and then now if i want to assign the chief positions to already existing positions is it possible like if i have to create a new chief position i would go to the edit tool and choose the chief position but, here its already the position exists in the place with out the red hat like the chief position. how should i go about this and i need a report on all the chief positions. pl, guide me guys its a heated situation here. I am stuck.

To assign Chief position for existing position, you could go to tcode PO13 , enter the position object id, go to relations to create :

relationship : A12

Type of related object = O org unit

ID of object = xxxxx ( object id of the org unit )

Thanks a ton for the reply, could u guide me my later part of the question i.e if I need to get the data related to only the Organizational heads i.e chief positions alone what is the process i should follow. Is there any standard Report for this. Or could u throw some light on this. I need to get the data of chief position under different organizational units.

You can try standard report ( tcode S_AHR_61016532)

This should give u the basic report u need.

My Boss wants a Adhoc-Qurey, which should show all the chief positions under different Organizational Units.

Can U help me in this regard as I am not aware of the adhoc query.

I think its much faster and efficient to write custom abap report for this due to the relationships. The required infty in OM are HRP1000, HRP1001.

You could use this report(tcode S_AHR_61016503

) as reference or made a copy for it for your required enhancement.
