InfoCube has transfered records but 0 records added?

Dear Bwers,

I am configuring Purchasing business content InfoCubes (0PUR_C01 and 0PUR_C04) in BW. I filled up the setup tables and wanted to do a full load into BW. The load is successful but when i go to the InfoCube manage, i see trsnafered records 3475 but No of Records added shows as 0. Can anybody tell me what is happening?

When i checked SAP library, i found this (see below) as a prerequisite for loading BW initial dataset. Can somebody tell me the transaction or navigation in R/3 where this is done? Thanks for the info.

This step is mandatory in order to make an initial dataset available for the BW Content.

Have the tables for the extract structure recompiled in order to make the desired data available to the BW Content.

Customer-Defined DataSource -->Logistics --> Management of Extract Structures --> Initialization --> Fill Recompiled Tables --> Application-Specific Recompilation --> Purchasing – Carry Out Recompilation

Thanks

Follow the path specified in SBIW txn on the source system.

added -

SBIW>BIWSetting for app specific DS-->Logistics

It could be due to missing settings for industry sector/txn-key. This setting is needed in SBIW->Purchasing->Setting for app specific DS>Logistics>Settings:puchasing

Hi Raj

I guess you are facing the same issue that has been discussed in this SDN thread.

Please check on page 2 wherein Stephan has installed some OSS Notes as per another thread given.

Hope it helps

hi,

1. you have source system problem. check there more then one source system are there. check the cube-> manage -> request -> source system description . may be differnt source system is assign for your cube.

2.goto SBIW tcode and -> Settings for application Specific DataSource -> Logistics -> Maintain Extract Structures -> Initialization -> delete the set up table->Filling in Setup tables -> Application Speiecific Set uptables.

Ajay,

I think it is Netweaver 04 (Basis Plug-In (PI_BASIS) 2005_1_640. I think that means ECC 6.4.

I 'think' it is same as filling the extract structure, I am not sure of the path mentioned here. Can you confirm you have the industry sector/process key properly defined? The problem of no updates even when you have records transferred is usually due to that.

Ajay,

Here is the link to the page. In R/3 i can see the data in RSA3. In BW it shows records transfered but 0 records added to the cube.

Are you on ECC5.0? What is your source system version?

Ajay,

The path you gave me is probably for filling up the setup tables. This looks different than setup tables. Here is the path again.

Customer-Defined DataSource -->Logistics --> Management of Extract Structures --> Initialization --> Fill Recompiled Tables --> Application-Specific Recompilation --> Purchasing – Carry Out Recompilation

Thanks

Can you give the link here of help page where this is mentioned(is it for nw04s)??

If data is not loaded (even though it came), it might be due to the other two setting missing on source system.
