Package for given transactions.....

Hi,

How do I find a package for a given trsnaction ?

I mean when I go to VA01 and system status, the things I can see does not include details of the pckage but just the screen name and program name and other stuff.

Go to transaction SE93. Enter the transaction and hit display. You will see package name.

if you are looking for the package of the program itself, not the transaction, then you can do the "SYStem->Status", then double click on the program name. Then when in the program, choose Go To->Object Directory Entry. Here you will see the package or development class. Just because the transaction code itself is in one development class/package, doesn't necessarily mean that the program associated with it belongs to the same package.
