Reject option not visible in SPM LOG REVIEW WORKFLOW

Hello Experts,

We're on GRC AC 10.1 with GRCFND_A component on Release V1100 & SP-Level 13. The FF log report workflow has been enabled and is working as expected. However, there isn't any option for the controller to reject the workflow. Currently, the options that are available to the controller under the "Other action" are Forward, Hold and Additional Information in addition to the Submit button.

Could you please let me know if it's possible to enable the reject option in the FF log and how ? If not, then how does the controller reject a FF log?

Hello SK,

One cannot reject Firefighter log review workflow request. You cannot reject the logs. The activities have been performed already, and these have to be audited.

Having said that, we cannot use the MSMS Notification for event Rejection.

Appreciate your response, however I noticed that there is an MSMS Notification event for Rejection - what's the purpose of this then ? And how do the auditors reject a FF log review workflow ?

Hi Sobbo.

To tell you the truth, I never payed attention to this 'reject' notification event. But I got confortable with the (apparent) impossibility of rejecting FF logs because, in my point of view, it wouldn't be usefull. I see the 'accept' button in this case as an 'ok, I'm aware'. The FF log is just reporting me something that altready happened, and rejecting it wouldn't undo whatever the user did. So, at most I can put the workflow on hold and ask the user for a more detailed explanation before going on.
But, as I told you, it's just my oppinion. I never searched for an official explanation about this behaviour. 🙂

Please check your MSMP configuration (either GRFNMW_CONFIGURE or GRFNMW_CONFIGURE_WD transactions) and you'll that there are no options to enable rejection for this kind of workflow.
