Customizing task "Transfer Attachments"

Hello everyone

Me again...

Can anyone please shed some light on the customizing task "Transfer Attachments" (customizing path = SRM Server -> Cross-Application Basic Settings -> Transfer Attachments)?

We're just wondering what the customizing task "Transfer Attachment" is good for when we only want to add attachments to SC items and then pass them over to the document created in R/3 Backend (e.g. purch.req.). Is customizing task "Transfer Attachment" required in some way for this.

We're using classic self service procurement scenario on SRM server 5.0 SP08 (with CCM 2.0 SP03).

Hi,

This customizing step seems to be useful for transfer of documents for External Partners(Vendors) i.e. between SUS and EBP.

For attachments in SC,you just need to do the settings in DC10 & DC30 in R/3 and implement Badi BBP_CREATE_REQ_BACK .
