field exit for account id on tcod fch5

i want to validate the enteries in the account id field of tcode fch5 with any number i have and if both will match i permit the user to proceed other wise error message.

Hi Pawan,

Go to SE38 and execute the report RSMODPRF and in the dataelement, and the field exit no as say 0. This will take you to SE37 transaction for the creation of a FM with the name FIELD_EXIT_HKTID_0.

Prerequisites are you have the right function group created for this.

Once this is created you'll be having the HKTID as import parameter. Validate against the value you want to compare and then provide necessary message.

Once the code generation is done, you need to assign the screen field displayed in FCH5 transaction using the program name and the screen number.
