KM Content: Links not working

Hi,

Can anyone tell me for the following problem that I am getting in Portal.

I moved to Content Administration -> KM Content -> root -> documents.

There I am creating a link as Folder -> New -> Link.

In Target I am entering "http://www.google.com" and click on Save button and then the link is created.

But when I click on it the following message coming.

<b>Link target is not available

The target of the link www.google.com you tried to navigate to is not available. Its repository might be disconnected or the target may have been renamed, moved, or deleted. Contact your system administrator if you think the target http://www.google.com should be available.

Can someone help me on this.

Regards

Deep

    Hi Deep,

if you want to create a link to an external Website, you can't use 'new -> link'. This is for KM-internal links. You have to use 'new -> external link'. Then it should work. Please enter the full URL including 'http://'

    Hope this helps
