Dheepa
Hi
if u r working on BI7.0 we the direct option copy in menu,
if u r working on BW3.5
T-code RSPC
Select u chain in planning mode, and give "copy" command in tcode box,
then give target name, after that create a start variant and remove the old start variant and add all the process to newly createe start variant.

Dheepa,
Go to RSPC --> Enter COPY in your transaction bar --> So that it will pop up a window asking you the techname and description.. Just go ahead with that..
Hope it helps..

If we want to make some changes to Process Chain but we are not sure whether it will work i.e. doing some R&D on the Process Chain then it is better that we create a copy of process chain and change that rather than changing the actual Process Chain........
Also Copying a Process Chain is far better than creating the entire Process Chain again ;-D
select the process chain which you want to copy, and enter 'COPY' in the transaction code box and hit enter.
