Dear Gurus,
I need to create a parameter/filter in a BEx query using the attributes of 0MATERIAL like 0BRAND and 0CATEGORY. How do i do it? Thanks a lot in advance for the time and help.

Thanks a lot for all the answers. I set the attributes to navigable and then could filter on those in BEx.
Thanks
Raj

Hi raj,
If at all 0BRAND & 0CATEGORY are display attributes then u cannot set filter or parameter to those objects , if they are navigation attributes then u can do that after executing the query . I mean after getting the result u can drill down on the navigational attribute and set the values there .

Hi Raj,
check in TA RSD1 for 0MATERIAL if the attributes 0BRAND and 0CATEGORY are type <b>NAV</b>.
If they are NAV you should be able to set the parameter/filter in the BEx-Query designer.
Kind regards
Klaus
