PO: 1 step approval - agent assignment

SRM-ers,

We are having some difficulties with the one step approval on the PO. We were wondering which agents can be assigned.

First we put the WF as general task: this worked - approval by the manager of the org unit.

Next we added an org unit as agent: the work item was added in the approval inbox of all users of the org unit, but they could not accept / reject (buttons disabled).

So are main question is: is it possible to have other approvers of a PO next than the manager of an org unit ?

I think this is possible though you have to maintain a table for this if the approver is not a manager.

You can maintain it and call it in your badi.
