Will Direct access data source fetch changes to a table record ?

Hello Gurus,

I have a custom Data Source (based on an AFS table - MEAN). This data source is having direct access method enabled with the value as 1. So, I believe that whenever I extract the data source, it will basically do a full load with fetching whatever data available in the base table at the time of extraction. But my doubt is -

Assume I have a material 4000 with EAN/UPC number as 100, Later I changed this EAN/UPC number to 101. After that, if I do extraction for this extractor, will it fetch the changes? (both 4000,100 and 4000,101)?

Or, will it fetch only the record which is currently available in the table (4000,101) ?

direct access datasources are used for virtual providers, no data extraction required, check:
