MIRO

Hi,

I had an error while creating an invoice that my moving average price was negative, so i changed the price in mr21 and posted the invoice. Now what will happen if i change the price back to what it was in mr21. It allows me to do it in QAS. Can some one throw some light on this.

Thanks

    Hi,

While doing MR21 transaction , system makes a posting for the difference in the inventory price x stock on the date. The new price will be updated in the material master record.

    Thanks & Regards

      azam,

first of all you will have to find out why the price went negative. (I think you are allowing -ve stocking). If you change the price back to -ve then you would have the same problem while MIRO for the item.

first analyze why the value went -ve.

    Hi,

If you change the price using MR21, system will post a document to account for the gain / loss on revaluation of inventory, while debiting or crediting inventory account.

    Hope this helps..

    Cheers.
