Hi,

I know about the documentation, I just wondered if SAP made available the .xsd schema.

I’m curios why SAP didn’t register the srf? Every xml with a new extension (like srf) is registered and the xsd schema is made public. From my research I didn’t find it registered.

Andrei,

The .srf is a file that is created when you use the Screen Painter. The format of the .srf file is XML. Since the Screen Painter allows you to create your own form, the XML would be different for each form. There is not a document of this type that I am aware of.

Hi Eddy,

Yes, the srf is actually an xml. If you take a closer look at my previous post you will see that my project converts any windows forms to a srf file and vice versa. My controls have an xsd schema behind. I’ve write an xslt which makes the conversion from my xml to srf. Any srf has the same tags. I’ve done my work without an xsd schema for the srf, it was a little bit harder but its done. It will be nice to have the xsd schema for the srf because that will make my work easier in my future tasks that I want to accomplish. I’m positive that when the screen painter was developed an xsd schema existed.

Thanks,

Andrei.

Hi Andrei,

AFAIK, this xsd doesn´t exist, or is not public at least. See my comments on your other post about form generator.
