Hi ,
I supposed to delete two infocubes, I just deleted the two cubes and stored in a same tranport request. Now as per the current requirements, i need to transport only the deletion of one cube to production, the other cube will be transported latter.
Deletion of both cubes are in the same transport request, there is no objects(cube) available because it is deleted.
Could anyonw help me to SPLIT THE TRANSPORT REQUEST into two, such that each cube deletion should be saved in two different requests and one should be transported now and the other latter.
Thank You.
just an easier way:
1. Create a new request in DEV
2. Mark that new request in se10
3. Select Request/Task from menu
4. -Objact List
5. --nclude Objects
6. Select the task from your old request and confirm
7. Delete one IC from each request

Hi Senthil,
Do not delete any entries from the transport request
(especially for deleted objects), you can not get it back.
1. Create new transport request.
2. Unlock objects from existing request(from SE03), do
not delete, unlock only.
3. Goto SE10/SE09 double click on your request. You can see the contents with desription and technical name of the object.
4. Choose required objects from existing request and insert into new request(now you can delete the moved objects from the old request).
5. To insert objects, goto SE03 -->> double click on request and insert.
Hope it Helps

Hi Senthil,
Steps are: -
1) Create a new request.
2) Include objects from the old request (from the context menu on the request).
3) Delete the 'cube' that you don't want to transport in the new request.
4) Transport the new request.
Thx,
Soumya

Hi Senthil,
I don't know how zo split requests, but there is a workaround:
1. Transport the cube you don't want to delete from
PROD to DEV checking 'Overwrite Originals' and 'Overwrite Objects in Unconfirmed Repairs' in tab Options of TC STMS.
2. Delete this IC from your request in DEV
3. Delete IC again creating a new request.
Hope this helps
Joe
