Client Copy

Hi,

i am using XI System. I have one client in my system and wants to make copy it.

for example i have Client 200 and wants to make Client 300, with Users. WHich transaction code i should use..

i used SCCL, but in the Screen it displaying

Target Client: 200 (which is already exists and logged onto that)

i want client to be generated with all user permissions.. becuase in my existing client i am unable to use SE38, ti write new code..

any sugg?

I think, while doing client copy, some of the instructions/configurations may left.

Hi,

Running t-code SCCL in the target client will start the client copy.

You should be aware that SAP NetWeaver XI is not able to support multiple client as the J2EE part does not have clients (J2EE does not have the client concept).

You could write programs from a second client as they are client independent but you should run SAP NetWeaver XI from you original client.
