Hi,

I'm unable to access the ABAP server. I can succesfully connect via SSH, but when I try to access via SAP Logon I get the WSAECONNREFUSED message. This has been going on for a few days now, is there any known problem? What can I do?

Thanks

I have the same problem.

I was reviewing many SAP blogs and every people say that the problem could be on the Secure User Store Encryption Key.
In fact, I was checking the hdbuserstore and the User indicated is not correct. :

sid-a4h-hdb:a4hadm 90> hdbuserstore LIST

DATA FILE: /home/a4hadm/.hdb/sid-a4h-hdb/SSFS_HDB.DAT

KEY DEFAULT

ENV : vhcala4hcs.dummy.nodomain:30215

USER: SAPA4H

So, I did the follow steps:

sid-a4h-hdb:a4hadm 103> hdbuserstore DELETE DEFAULT
sid-a4h-hdb:a4hadm 104> hdbuserstore SET DEFAULT vhcala4hcs.dummy.nodomain:30215 a4hadm <password>

...but the problem is not was solved:

sid-a4h-hdb:a4hadm 111> R3trans -d
This is R3trans version 6.25 (release 745 - 12.04.16 - 20:16:02).
unicode enabled version
2EETW169 no connect possible: "DBMS = HDB --- SERVER = '' PORT = ''"
R3trans finished (0012).

Please, could somebody help me on this issue without create a new instance?

Best regards,

Sergio

Hi Segio,

Could you collect and send the logs as described in my previous answer?

Also please let us know the solution name and when the problem appeared, i.e. in the very beginning, 3-months later, etc.

Best regards,

Stanimir

Good morning Stanimir:

First of all, thank you very much form quick answer.

I'll collect the /var/log/appliance*.log files and I'll send you to cal.admin@sap.com

Regarding the solution name is: SAP BW/4HANA 1.0 [Developer Edition]

I had the instance in "suspense" state during 4-months.

Cheers,

Sergio

Hello,

Have you installed permanent license keys. If not, please see the Licenses section in the getting started guide.

Hi,

According to the logs the system was OK when it was initially provisioned. Also the instance is older than 3 months, so the temporary licenses have expired for sure.

Best regards,

Stanimir

Good morning Stanimir:

Ah OK then. So now, what can I do? How can I renew the license?

The SAP provisioned doesn't have installed any product. Could be better create a new instance than renew the current license?

Regards,

Sergio

Hello Marco,

Could you send the /var/log/appliance*.log files to cal.admin@sap.com to let the SAP CAL Team investigate the problem?

The fastest solution would be to terminate the instance and to create a new one.

Best regards,

Stanimir

Hi Stanimir.

Thanks for your reply.

If I terminate, Will I lose the objects created in the appliance?

Hi Marco,

Yes, you will loose them. Did you check if the ABAP server is up?

Best regards,

Stanimir

It was not up, I got the message

Database is not available via R3trans

I terminated the instance and created a new one, thanks
