SolMan 4.0 implemation

Dear all,

I just have a fresh installation 4.0 build up my client 101 but now the question. How can I setup Servie Support Desk, SLD including a Portal landscape,CCMS configuration for collecting abap and j2ee data?

Which steps are usually to begin with all that customizing.

Any help will be appreciated.

There is a blog on this site that lists the configuration steps from the IMG in an easier to read format. There are several BC Sets to run, listed in several SAP Notes. Some of these have errors however. I am currently trying to work my way through those.

These instructions assume you have already set up your system landscape (RFC connections etc.)

i think this is a good way:

- use the relevant guides from sapnet -> they are good!

- step by step enhancements in spro

- i bought the small book "Konzeption und Einrichtung des Systemmonitorings mit dem SAP Solution Manager" - not finished with reading ;o)
