T- HRFORMS and ADS - Reqirements checking

Dear All,

If we are to design payslips using HRFORMS and Adobe, i assume we need to install and setup ADS ?

And to install and get ADS setup working we need a Java system installed along side our ABAP ECC system ?

Regardless of the use of HRforms, if you want to use Interactive Forms to generate output, you need to install a Java stack with the configured Adobe document services. If you are on mySAP ERP 2005, we also recommend a double-stack installation for you to be able to take advantage of all performance-improving features on the ABAP side.

Were on WEB AS 640(2004) at the moment.

I thought i was correct i just needed it confirming

Web AS 6.40 (ERP 2004) means that you cannot use a double-stack installation, but need to have a separate Java stack.

What print volumes are we talking about? In what time frame do you need to print? (Be aware of the high-volume printing release restriction for NW04 and 2004s (SAP Notes 863893 and 894389).
