[SAP - MM] Document not yet released, but GR document can be created

Dear Expert,

I had a PO release configuration issue which the document not yet released but the user can create Goods receipt document and even release tab do not appears in the PO document.

Hi,

Release strategy not configured properly that why not shown in PO.

They are not trigger it.

What are the characteristics you assigned to your PO class?

Did you check release strategy configuration?

Have you maintained the characteristic values in CL20N transaction?

Recheck the configuration once and if possible post the screen shots of your release strategy.

Hi Dimar,

Are you sure that your release strategy has been configured properly?

From your screen shot, it can be perceived that release strategy may have some errors due to which it is not showing.

Follow the path: Materials management -- Purchasing -- Purchase order -- Release procedure for PO -- Check release strategies

Hope it will give you an idea regarding the problem in your release strategy.

Please clarify your question. Release strategy tab is not there in your purchase order, so goods receipt can be posted without any interruption of release strategy.
