G/L account does not exist in company code

hi,

in MB1c, i am getting error as G/L account does not exist in company code 1000.

does anyone know how to correct this?

Hello,

Use an existing gl account. You can get the Gl accounts from Fs00 tcode or SKB1 table.

Or, create new GL which you are using... by FS00 tcode.

check or Create /Copy from , in FS00.

Hi,

check the GL accounts tables SKA1, SKB1, whether any GL's exists for that company code...

Hi vamsee,

1. This is basically

a functional error

and not an abap-technical error.

2. For each g/l account ,

it should be link to the respective company code,

so that the account entries

can be made for that particular company.

3. Ask the functional consultant,

he will rectivy/solve the problem.

I have copied the G/L account from existing company code to a new company code, Although I can see the list of G/L Accounts but I can not make any postings.

Does anyone has good guess.
