How to change the "Type" name from "Normal Document" to anything else

Hi,

I have done the settings for showing the Type while uploading or creating the document in KM content.

But I got Type coming as "Normal Document" in the combo box.

Can anyone tell me how I can change this text name i.e. from "Normal Document" to "Business Document" in the Type.

Hi Deep,

you can use labels here that can be translated via bundle files, exactly as I can be done for Properties or UI Commands.

An example PAR file for the resource bundle you find attached to SAP Note 817876, as mentioned in the referenced link (Prerequisites section).

For resource types however, you don't need to do steps 4. & 5. All you have to do is to define in the resource type configuration (Global Services -> Resource Types -> ResourceTypes) the "Key for Description" (as your lable from the bundle file) and the Bundle File (as you have to define in step. 4 for property lables when creating Meta Data Extension).
