Hi,

Please help me to resolve this issue.

Issue Description- the ATP check is not working at the planned order level. It is simply providing the required quantity as shortfall quantity without considering the remaining stock, which is available to commit for planned orders.

Requirement-

The available free stock quantity must be committed for planned order and rest of uncovered requirement quantity only should appear under shortfall quantity.

Please find more details, as enclosed for analyzing the issue.

Regards,

Ni2

Hi Nitesh

To me, it seems System is working fine, and considering the existing stock into account during the availability Check
As per the inputs mentioned, after the Stock of 776, there is a requirement of 2500, which is resulting the Shortage

Please take a look of the attached screen shot of your inputs & the calculations of the Stock, based on Receipts & Requirements

Kindly check & let me know, with your comments/feedback, for any other details/assistance required

Many Thanks for your quick feedback: Best Regards : Raja Sekhara Reddy B

Hi Raja,

Sorry for delay in response. If you see the qty. (232.5+1400+1562.5+15000) = 18195, excluding the consideration of Purchase Order qty. So the system should confirm 776 qty. for planned order, which is not happening.

Hi Raja,

Thanks for your reply. The material shortage is there. But the planned order should be (2500-776) = 1724 for shortage qty. At present,

system is showing the shortfall quantity as exact order requirement quantity (Planned Order) and committed qty. showing zero. Please refer screen-3.

Please let me know your feedback.

Regards

Hi Nitesh

Thanks for the quick feedback
It seems, in the availability Check, System is not considering the Incoming Purchase Orders Quantities as per the settings shown.

If this is the case, then still the system behavior is correct & the Commitment Quantity will become Zero(0), for the requirement Quantity of 2500, which we checked earlier
Please find the attached screen shot of the same details

Hope, this might be of some useful info. Kindly check & let me know, with your feedback/comments

Many Thanks for your quick feedback : Best Regards : Raja Sekhara Reddy B
