Good evening.

I need your expert help. I have maintained the following settings in a material for a range of coverage profile. But when i run MRP, i am not sure that procurement proposals are correct... For example, for the first period (March of 2017) shouldn't it create something more than 1 piece?

And, something else: if i plan with a planning horizon of 60 days, will range of coverage work or it is not possible, because the planning horizon is shorten? Many Many thanks,

Dr. Nikos Giannopoulos

Good morning.

I think i have found the solution. SAP by default places PIRs (VSF) in the first day of the month, therefore, when MRP runs it creates requirement in that day, which, because it is in the past, it does not take the ROC into account for the first period (3/2017). I found out that if I change the past requirements date into current day (or in the future) then ROC is taken into account for the first requirement also (I assume it does not create bigger PR in the second month (4/2017) because it should be covered by the existing stock). Please check and offer your expert opinion.

Best personal regards,

Nikos
