Dear Experts,

The documentation that is available for using push notifications is somewhat old and there seem to be several changes in the way things work now.

I have created a SAPUI5 Fiori Mobile app from webIDE in my hanatrial account. I build it and deployed it and registered it to Fiori Mobile and thus to HCPms Dev Ops.

I set the push notifications settings in the Fiori Mobile admin console. For this I had to register to google API via firebase console (This is new compared to the documents). I got my project registered and here I am able to see many keys along with the sender Id. I am not able to understand which key, key1, key2 or key3 should be entered in the API key info in Fiori Mobile admin console. Please see the screenshots below.

I am assuming that I have to enter either key2 or Key3 along with the sender Id. Please clarify this.

After making these settings, I can see that the application is visible in HCPms and I also registered my android hybrid app from my android device successfully as can be seen below:

Now, I try to use post man client to post a notification: The screenshots show the authentication and body:

Here I get a 403 error. I had assigned the notification user role to the user id, but I still got a security log warning in HCPms saying that role is not assigned. Please check below:

I again went to the HCP cockpit > security >Authorizations (this way of assigning the authorizations is also changed and is different from what is given in documents).

I again assigned myself the notification user role:

I again tried to post the notification, but I am still getting 403.

Please let me know how to resolve this issue and also which API key to use in application config in Fiori Mobile admin console.

Regards,

Shashidhar

Update on this - I was able to send a notification to my mobile. I have used Key3 (see main question) from firebase console.

Related Question: How do I do something with the notification data. Any pointers to blogs or tutorials for working with notifications API within SAPUI5??
