Problem with Restricted Recruiter Requisition Status Change Approval Proces

Hello,

Our company is having a problem with Recruiters recieving any approval notifications for requisitions where the status change is performed by someone logged on as a Restricted Recruiter. The approval notification never appears in the Recruiters approval page. The Restricted Recruiter is able to submit the request without any problems.

I was hoping that someone could help point me in the right direction so that I may begin troubleshooting this.

How did you solve the requisition approval issue we are facing similar kind of problem where in no agents are assigned to the task.Which al customization u did to resolve the error.Pls Do reply as we are stuck in this issue for very long now..

I am having exactly same problem that you guys had experienced. I have browsed through the specified OSS notes as well.

Since I am new to Workflow without having any training or whatsoever, would you please give me an overview or steps just what you have done on that and I can go throught by myself one by one.

What I meant to say was not activating BSP-Services via ICF. The workitem, that you see within the approval page can only be executed as a webservice. And this should be a generic function of the workflow engine. But as I know, if it was configured in a wrong way, the list would not show up any workitems.

So this behaviour that you join the requisition maintenance instead of the workitem is strange. SO you should go via OSS.

Well I do not know how.

But I know, that for the Approval Workflow WebServices must be enabled on your WebAS.

I guess that configuration is missing. Just if that is configured, open Workitems will be shown for Approvalworkflow.

The approval workflow unfortunatly does not base on BSP but on Webservices.

This note helped fixed our problem.

Using SM30 I clicked on maintain table for SWLWPTSSID. Here where it said logical system we had it pointing to the wrong environment. Changing this to show the correct environment fixed our problem.

Ryan, I have assigned 'ERCApproval' Service and the logical system to the Task 'TS51807979'..

Yet I m facing the same problem...

The requisition for approval is not entering the Approval page..but in to Maintenance page....

I tried with and without assining agents to the task TS51807979 yet the same problem persists

I can see,The workflow task in the Business Workplace of that recruiter...But When Itry to excute it, I see a error message 'No Administrator found'

Please let me know If I m missing anything ...

Would apprciate if you could mail me the steps whihc you have followed in setting up the 'Approval' Worflow..

One Last question...(this two will complete my error free E-rec Cycle)

Kindly let me know how to include EEO Questionaire in Application Wizard for a external and Unregistered candidate..

I have created the questionaies and

in IMG->e-recruiting ->Applicant Tracking->Questionaire -> Assign Catogories to Activity Types

I have marked the check box for application wizard..

Please let me know if I am missing anything...

Well second thing for questionnaires is:

The container sequence needs to include the container in application wizard (in standard CS already included).

Secondly the questionnaire needs to be assigned to activity within recruitment plan ( process template ).

Sebastian is correct. One other thing regarding creating EEO questions that you do not want to overlook is to make sure that you provide a reporting area for single selection response types. If you do not no EEO information will be captured.

for the TS51807979 please let me know if we have to assign any agents or not...(As it is not a background job I have assigned Manger and Recruiter roles to it)

When i do a check using SWi1 Transaction...

I see that for Approval Request Task 'No Agent is Assigned' (Though I have assigned the aggents)

Kindly let me know Ifwe have to make any settings in IMG under <b>'SAP Businessworkflow'

'Maintain Standard Settings'->'Maintain Addition settings and services'-> 'Maintain Web Server'</b> similar to wat we did in

<b>E-recruiting Wokflow under 'define external services for workflow'</b>

Im facing a problem with Data Transfer...(The problem is not with RFC connections)

All the 'Application activites' on a Application of a candidate..are functioning smoothly..

but in the OFFERNING Process when i Try to transfer the data To HR system...

I see following error messages..

Firstly " Name or Password Incorrect. Please Re-enter"

Secondly " you are not authorised. Session Terminated"

and Finally "user locked. Please notify the person responsible"

I have been doing some digging on this matter on E-Recruiting workflow and have discovered transaction SWI2_FREQ (Work Items per Task), very useful. Upon running this utility I found 8 pending approval request tasks. I double clicked on the task to show the workflow status of each task.

I double clicked on one of the request for status change tasks for a requisition which took me to the approval request for status change of Req ########. Here I clicked on the activities tab selected the activities tab, selected the activity Approval request for status change of Requisition ######## then clicked on the execute icon.

Doing this opened up a new web browser and prompted me to login. Using the correct login credentials for this environment I click the login button and promptly recieve the error message...

Error in Web service execution

E:SWF_HTTP:050 TS51807979

At this point I am unsure of where to go...

Any help would be appreciated.
