Thanks for the answer.

I know how to deploy WebDynpro project in j2ee-engine, but by policy of the company, I can't make this deploy. This policy, force me to make the import with PAR file.

For this, I need an idea of how to export a WebDynpro project specifically in a PAR File.

Best Regards.

I work on EP 6, WAS 6.40, NWDS 2.12.

I'm not going to say that its not possible, but I'm not optimistic about it. Web Dynpro is "compiled" and deployed as an .ear file. I don't think that the engine will know what to do with a webdynpro application packaged in a .par file. You could always deploy the webdynpro application using the SDM on the local machine. I don't think that it is possible to import a webdynpro application via a .par file thru EP.

Is it because your Basis team will not allow you to deploy to the J2ee server?? If that is a the case you could deploy to you local machine that will create a .ear file and create a process that you send the .ear file to the Basis group and have them deploy it. Do you have NWDi setup in your company? If so that could be the route.

But you cannot create a par file from a Web Dynpro application. A par file is a portal iView. You either develope your application as a portal application and export it as a par or find a way like I have describe above to deploy a .ear file.

Thanks for quickly answer.

Insert the WebDynpro in a iView is not a option for me. My problem is that I can't Deploy the WebDynpro project in the Engine, and the unique way I have for to locate something into the EP, is through PAR files.

What version is your engine in which the EP runs on? Is it a 6.40 engine? If so, then web dynpro is supported. You developed your webdynpro application using NWDS and you have deployed to the engine in question, right?

WebDynpro applications are not built into .par files. In NWDS just deploy the application in the webdynpro project to the engine. You can then create an iView in the portal and specify that it is a WebDynpro application.
