Hi, we have upgraded and migration BW system from 7.4 sp 11 on Oracle to 7.5 sp 6 on HANA.
We have a a keyfigure ZAMOUNT_6 of type custom Z domain. Data Type CURR Length 17 Decimal 6.
We have another key figure ZAMT_SIGN of type RSKYFAMO. Data Type CURR Length 17 Decimal 2.
We have third key figure ZAMT_REV of type F.
We load data from PSA (object used ZAMT_REV) to Cube and in transformation we have direct mapping for object ZAMT_REV.
We populate 2 and 6 decimal measures in transformations as below.
result_fields-/bic/zamt_sign = <source_fields>-/bic/zamt_rev.
result_fields-/bic/zamount_6 = <source_fields>-/bic/zamt_rev.
In 7.4 value -0.145000 coming from source is converted to -0.15 while it stores in 2 decimal key figure ZAMT_SIGN where as in 7.5 HANA its converted to -0.14.
The values like -0.635600 (4th place decimal is available) are same in both systems as -0.64.
Is there any rounding off difference between 7.4 Oracle vs 7.5 HANA, or is this a global setting that we can control. Please advise.
Thanks.
Regards,
Anil
