Costs of Solution Manager 4.0

Hi all.

Do you know how much it will cost to use the Service Desk of the Solution Manager 4.0? We want to use it for the support for one of our clients.

What are the costs of the installation, to run the system and of any licenses we need?

In fact, which are the total costs of the usage of Solution Manager 4.0?

    Hi Daniela,

    I can not give you the total costs, but there are no licenses fees if you are using service desk only for SAP problems. If you are also using it for your network, printer.. you need SAP CRM licenses, which are included in a SAP Business Suite, or I think also mySAP contract.

    The cost for hardware maintenance... is not easy to answer. It is also depended if you are using SolMan in high availability scenario or in a simple system scenario (e.g. for EWAs)

      Hi.

      I get the answer on my own.

      You do not need own licences for Solution Manager. You get the software together with a new SAP System or you can order it from SAP when you already have a SAP System. So there are no extra costs for the Solution Manager.

      And if you do not use a SAP System, I think you will not want to have the Solution Manager as a system on his own.
