Hi Vimol

Pl find the following steps.

1. Create a System in Portal, which will access the BW3.5 system.

2. Give all the parameters which ever is applicable for the system properties.

3. Create a system alias for the system u hv created.

4. Choose option called UIDPWD or SAP LOgonTickets in system properties, depends upon ur option.

hope it helps

hi,

Pradeep's advice covers ITS solution and also for SSO support with VC or Dynpro.

I have followed the steps suggested to connect SRM server with EP, but despite using the administrator log in, i am unable to find the option test connection.

I am doing the steps in system configuration --> system >created a folder under portal content and created a system->selected template ->Chose system edit-> Selected connection properties->Selected was properties-> chose system alias> test conection

but i have not found the test connection option to test the connection we have just created, so kindly help me with it.

We create SSO for system for BW.

we input the init transcation code as RRMX

It works well, but some web report have little problems.

Hi Vimol,

Check this link for creating systems

http://help.sap.com/bp_epv260/EP_EN/documentation/EP/N03_BB_InstallGuide_EN_US.doc

You have to create separate system for BW

You have to set the following properties for the system object for BW

Connector Porperties

USer Management

USer Mapping

WAS

Go to system Administration --> system configuration --> system landscape.

Expand the folder portal_content. Right click on the portal_content and create --> new folder. Fill in the details. Right click the folder you created and choose new --> system. Select the template which matches with your BW system and choose save. Right click the system object created and choose edit. In then drop down box select connection properties.

Enter the BW Details here like application host, server port, etc. and choose save. Now select WAS property from the drop down list. Give details of your WAS server and save. Now choose user mapping and select the logon method you need and select user, admin from the drop down box and save.

Again right click the system object and choose system alias. Give your logical system name and set it as default and save.

Once you are done with creating the systems

Right click on the system and choose system alias and specify a system alias for the system

Then right click the system and choose connection test to test the connection.

Once you are done with the creation of system then create roles, worksets, pages and iviews.

Now go to content administration --> portal content. Expand the portal content. Right click and choose create folder and give the details and save. Now right click the folder and choose create --> iview. Now choose the BW Report iview template and give the BW Query and choose the system object you created from the dropdown list and save.

Now iview is created. Right click the iview and choose preview. The iview is executed and the BW query displayed.

For BW iview select BW Report iview template and give the query string to access BW reports

Hi,

You've 3 options.

One is to link ITS Screens directly into EP with SSO support just like R/3 apps.

Others are to use Visual Composer or Web Dynpro. Easiest one is to use Visual Composer. Don't know what program exp. you've.
