Delete FICO postings using RKACOR20 and OBR1

Dear experts,

We are having a company code in production for which we have missed some important configuration steps (group currency not defined in OB22, local ledgers not assigned to cc,...) . Unfortunately we already have few FICO documents posted in production and we would like to delete those docs before updating config.

We already tried OBR1 in QA but CO docs were not deleted.. We are considering using

RKACOR20 first to delete CO docs then OBR1 for the FI docs. Any point of attention ?

Regards,

MY

Hello Michael,

When you said few transactions, what do you mean? From an audit point of view, I suggest that you reverse it. This way, you will have a balance sheet at zero. After that, you will be able to repost. It can be good to involve the accounting team just to back yourself. And if you have a lot of transaction, I had work with a company that we have implemented a local currency 2 few years after the go-live.

Hi,

You'd better use OKC3 (RKSCUS01) transaction to delete CO data, but RKACOR20 is equally OK.

Hi Eli,

Thanks for your feedback. OKC3 doesn't give me the option to select a specific company code and we are having multiple companies assigned to 1 controlling area. FYI, I just tested this scenario (RKACOR20+OBR1) and it looks fine to me.

I see... for one company code, your actions were perfectly OK.
